I'm Bill Holmstrom, a 32-year old living in Salem, Oregon.
I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and attended the University of Oregon. I recieved a bachelor's degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management with a minor in Computer & Information Science, and also attended several years of graduate school studying Community & Regional Planning. Currently I work for the Oregon Department of Land Conservation & Development as a planner in the Transportation & Growth Management Program. Previously I was employed by Tillamook County as an Associate Planner.
My professional interests are in planning, primarily transportation and land use planning. I also have interests in and have worked with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), urban design and architecture, and public involvement and information. I am particularly interested in public transportation, and was an elected board member of the Tillamook County Transportation District for four years.
Some other interests include travel, movies, outdoors & camping, reading, computers, geography & maps.
