I'm Bill Holmstrom, 34, and living in Salem, Oregon.

I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and attended the University of Oregon. I earned a bachelor's degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management with a minor in Computer & Information Science, and studied Community & Regional Planning for several years at the graduate level.

I work as a Planner for the Oregon Department of Land Conservation & Development in the Transportation & Growth Management Program. Previously I worked as a Planner for Tillamook County, Oregon.

My professional interests are in planning, primarily transportation and land use planning. I also have interests in and have worked with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), urban design and architecture, and public involvement and information.

I am particularly interested in public transportation. I was an elected board member of the Tillamook County Transportation District for four years and am currently on the budget committee for Salem-Keizer Transit.
